Ralph's first degree is in Studio Art with a concentration in Film from Kent State. This degree covered a wide variety of art forms: drawing, sculpting, painting, printmaking, and neon sign making. Included in curriculum was art history, film theory, and conceptual approaches to creativity.

​

His second degree is in Film Production from Full Sail University. He is adept in all areas of production, including producing, directing, writing, editing, animation, and beyond. He is an established storyboard artist and scriptwriter.

​

Ralph worked as a Graphic Designer 1999-2012; versed in print production and web site creation, usually as a freelancer, or in print/publication houses in which he was the sole designer.

​

He published a comic book during the Marvel exodus in 1993, wrote and illustrated a daily comic strip in 1996-7, and released his first novel in 2014. Hired to write a feature film in 2008, he currently writes short films.

​

As the sole Video Production Instructor at Stark State College, he passes on his knowledge to new filmmakers and artists.

​

Ralph is married to his wife, Maryann, with an adult stepson Logan, and two small children, Lily and Luke, a Boston Terrier named Tucker, and two cats: Mama and Sweet Pea. They live in Canal Fulton, OH.

​

Ralph spends every other weekend volunteering at Faith Family Church in North Canton teaching the first through fourth graders. Often, this is done with a handmade cheetah puppet named Phil. Other puppetteering duties crop up as necessary.
